While the actual medication was a wash, my 5 months of self-injection of Betaseron proved to have some use today...:

I finally got my flu shot for the year today. In the past, I wouldv'e been extremely agitated about having the shot.

However, this time, because a) I hardly felt it last year when I had it and b) I spent all those months steeling myself for injections meant that I took the shot this year wuthout even flinching! In fact, the lady who gave me the shot couldn't believe I was needlephobic because I didn't even take a breath before she gave me the shot. :)
